Contortion Lab Application

The upcoming Labs are sold out, but you can still apply for the waitlist. And if you are accepted, you will receive priority registration for future Contortion Labs!

The Contortion Lab adds an int/adv class to the 2-Day Flexibility Intensive. These classes are designed for students who already have some experience with contortion training.

Since the training is over 5 hours each day, we want to be sure that all participants have a base level of strength and endurance (in addition to flexibility) to ensure each student can truly benefit from the training.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this program, you must create a short video that includes the following skills:

  • Going in and out of a cheststand. Please include all entrances and exits that you are capable of. Feet do NOT need to be flat on the floor.

  • Going from standing to Bridge/Wheel and back up to standing.

  • All 3 Splits (right, left, middle) they don't have to all be flat, we just need to see where you're at!

  • You can also include any additional contortion tricks (handstands, needle, etc.) you would like Catie to see, although this is not required.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

  • Your application video must be less than 3 minutes.

  • Your video link must go to a Google Drive File (preferred), or a public YouTube or Vimeo video.
